Just a lovely daisy photographed with a black background giving the appearance of darkness.

A sunset west of Phoenix, Arizona. I really loved how the sun and clouds gave a diagonal line and an arch in the sky. That was not a Photoshop creation, but the way the sky looked that night.
Bible verse:
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

An old wooden pier in Ventura, California. From what I could gather, this pier was built in 1872 and renovated in 1993.
Verse of the day:
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Ephesians 6:10

Teddy Bear Cholla is often called “Jumping Cactus.” No they do not actually jump, but often they will make you think they do. They have segments which easily detach from the plant and if you brush up against one, they will attach its self to you. Once you get one of these segments stuck in you, the only way to remove it is with pliers or a couple of sticks, or something along that line.
Photographed west of Phoinix at the Skyline Regional Park, Buckeye, Arizona.

A Zinnia with just two water drops photographed in our back yard with a textured background from Distressed Textures. I often see flowers photographed where the photographer took a spray bottle or something and added way to many water drops to the flower. Here, I decided to do the opposite and place just two on the flower. I am not opposed to someone adding all the water drops they like to a flower, but I do find I am much more attracted to the images with just a few, or even just one drop of water on the flower. Have a wonderful day.
A verse for the day:
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 1 John 1:9

An African Daisy to brighten up ones day.

Photographed west of Phoenix one morning in the spring of this year. We had lots of wildflowers this year, one of the beautiful things here in Arizona when we get enough rain. The flower in the lower left is called “brittlebush” and the cactus is the iconic Saguaro. We also have creosote bush in the scene.

Photographed in the evening nearing sunset in the Skyline Regional Park in Buckeye, Arizona west of Phoenix. The two tall cacti are saguaro’s and in the foreground we have Buckhorn Cholla and Barrel Cactus.

Colorful chrysanthemum, lots of lines and details in this one. I just loved the curved pedal on the top.
